We require a minimum of 4 registered students to have this class.
Students must bring or email proof of rabies and DHLPP or DHPP shot records for EACH class they are enrolled in. Females in heat must wear appropriate diaper/panties and stay separated from other dogs–can be asked to leave if this is too disruptive. About this event
Class meets: 9/19, 9/26, 10/10, 10/24, 10/31, 11/21 (NO class 10/3, 10/17, 11/7, 11/14).
Emphasis in this class will be on teaching you to be connected to and in charge of your dog’s behavior. Not only will we address the basic exercises that comprise the Novice Obedience class, but we will also learn to be engaged with and have the total attention and cooperation of our dog. Heeling. Position changes. Stays. Recalls.
Prerequisites: Appropriate for dogs that have completed the CGC course or with permission from the instructor. Bring 4-6 ft leash, flat, martingale, or slip collar and LOTS of small treats.
